Great to meet you!

I’m Sharon Ballestero, MSW, LCSW-S, TF-CBT Certified, and I believe that therapy should be a safe space to let go, reflect, and heal—without pressure or judgment. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work with a focus in Clinical Mental Health, and I’ve been serving individuals and families for nearly 20 years.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I provide a safe, supportive space for individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. I take a client-centered approach that meets people where they are while helping them move toward where they want to be. I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care to create personalized treatment plans that reflect each person’s unique needs and goals.

What you can expect from our first session

You’re not expected to have all the answers—I’m here to walk alongside you as we figure things out together.
